Quick Tip- Maximize your My Disney Experience
Below is a few simple tips that will help make your Disney Experience a better one
Disney allows you to make up to 3 Fast Pass Plus reservations per day you have tickets for. All must be in the same park and times cannot overlap. When you have used up your 3 FPP’s for the day you aren’t stuck waiting in long lines. You can add a 4th FPP and then when you us it a 5th FPP and so on. This is a great way to get in rides on less popular attractions that can attract longer lines in the afternoon. This is most useful at Magic Kingdom which offers the most rides of any park and has some of the longest lines. Schedule your first 3 FPP’s fore earlier in the day, an hour or two after park opening, so that you can utilize the options for 4th, 5th, and 6th and so on.
Keep your device charged throughout the day. We use our phones for a lot nowadays. From pictures to scheduling Fast Pass Plus to checking parade times in the parks your battery can quickly start to drain. Carry your charger with you and take advantage of charging stations throughout the park to get a boost or invest in a portable rechargeable power pack. For as little as $10 you can pick up one at your favorite electronics stores or online and it can provide an extra boosts of power on the go. Trent and Mophie are name brands that are available most places for a decent price. A small investment before your trip will keep your phone charge and you in charge of your devices.
Check your settings. While in the parks you may not need your email to refresh every 15 minutes. If you do not have data restrictions you may not want to use wifi, check the settings and cut it off. You may also want to make sure your pictures are uploaded and cleared out before your trip to make room for new ones. Know ow to adjust screen brightness, being out in the bright Florida sun can be very different form where you usually are viewing your phone.
Update your app before you leave home. The My Disney Experience app has regular updates if your device is not set to auto update check before you leave home and do any necessary updates. If you app is very slow to load or not working correctly ditch the app and try to pull up a browser window and log into www.mydisneyexperience.com like you would from your home computer and use the services thru there.
